I was looking at your website when I came across your article and photo of a Johnny Cadell whip so I thought I would send you a photo of the Cadell whip I have. I got it new from a chap that used to have a western gear type shop in the top end of Rundle St in Adelaide in about 1978. The chap that had the store didn't want to sell it to me as he reckoned that it was one of the last ones that Johhny had made before he became addicted to the bottle. The work in this whip is just superb, it's a 16 strand,and perfectly smooth when you run your hands along the thong.
